Yard Supervisor - UK

Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, and US. We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.

The Yard Supervisor will work alongside an already established supervisory team. This role will assist with the management of the yard operations to ensure the smooth running of the full auction process.

Key Activities:

• Manage the layout of the yard keeping previous auction stock compressed and future auction stock in the right place ready for line up.
• Manage the different teams lining up stationary and rolling stock being sure to meet deadlines.
• Keeping stock of all auction supplies needed from line up to auction days.
• Managing and briefing drivers every week and before auctions days on basic health and safety and the layout of the yard.

We're looking for someone who's hands-on, personable, and a great communicator. You should be proactive, use your initiative, and enjoy solving problems while working well with others

The Requirements

Essential Criteria:

• Supervisory experience.
• Experience working with plant and machinery.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English is essential.

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience working in the auction industry.
