Euro Auctions Strengthens North American Presence as The Auction Company Joins Global Network

California-based auction specialist extends Euro Auctions’ US presence to the West Coast

Euro Auctions has announced that California-based The Auction Company has joined its global auction network, strengthening the group's presence across the United States and extending its reach from coast to coast.

The partnership brings together two family-owned businesses with a shared commitment to integrity, professionalism and customer service. The Auction Company's two California auction sites in Colton and Madera, together with its Murrieta office, will complement Euro Auctions' established US operations under the Yoder & Frey brand.

The addition further strengthens Euro Auctions' wider international network, which includes operations across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Australia.

Jonnie Keys, Euro Auctions, commented:

“The Auction Company is an excellent fit for our network. We look for strong, owner-operated businesses that share our values and commitment to customers, and Claudia, Steve and their team have built exactly that.

“The partnership strengthens our West Coast presence while giving The Auction Company's customers access to a truly international buyer network.”

Founded in 2003 by Claudia Knopp and Steve Gorin, The Auction Company has built a strong reputation across California and the western United States, serving contractors, rental companies, transport operators, municipalities and government agencies.

The company specialises in construction and heavy equipment, rental fleets, trucks, trailers, vehicles and government surplus assets.

Knopp and Gorin will continue to lead the business alongside the existing team, ensuring continuity for customers while providing access to Euro Auctions' international marketing capabilities and global buyer base.

Claudia Knopp said:

“We have always built our business around our customers and our team. Joining Euro Auctions allows us to retain that local focus while giving our customers access to a much larger international marketplace.”

Steve Gorin added:

“Our customers will continue dealing with the same people and at the same locations. The difference is that their equipment can now be marketed to buyers around the world.”

With the addition of The Auction Company's California sites, Euro Auctions' network now comprises six auction sites in the USA, seven in Canada, five in Europe, one in the UAE and one in Australia.

The latest expansion reinforces Euro Auctions' strategy of combining local market expertise with global reach, creating greater opportunities for both buyers and sellers of construction and industrial equipment.
